The Colours of Christmas

Some sing of Dreaming of a White Christmas, forlorn lovers may have a Blue Christmas but what is the symbolism and associations of the colours of Christmas?

And how might this help when choosing a Christmas colour scheme for your home? Christmas colour schemes are chosen for a variety of reasons. It might be to match the colour scheme of the home, some will have their favourite holiday decorations and others will choose colours according to their mood. When choosing a Christmas colour scheme this year, it might help to consider some of the traditional symbolism and associations of the colours of Christmas.

Celebrating the Winter Solstice

Christmas was originally the pagan celebration of the winter solstice; a celebration to brighten spirits in the dead of winter and celebrate the coming of spring. Pine tree branches were originally hung around the house representing the green of the leaves in anticipation of the coming spring and homes were decorated with sprigs of holly to brighten up the grey winter months for the celebration.

Colours of Christmas: Red

The main colours of Christmas are red, green and gold, white and silver. Red is the colour of love and energy. In Christian tradition, this colour symbolizes the blood of Jesus which was shed for all humans that they might be saved. (John 19:34).

Red is the colour of fire inducing feelings of warmth and visions of roaring fires, red berries and Santa Claus. People who are drawn to the colour red are likely to be outgoing, cheerful and impulsive. However too much red could promote anger, over-excitement and intense emotions so it is always good, when using red even as a predominant Christmas colour scheme, to offset it with other, less fiery Christmas colours.

Symbolism of Green at Christmas

In Christian tradition green symbolizes eternal life in Christ (John 3:16-17). Green is the colour of holly and mistletoe, the Christmas fir tree and a symbol, at Christmastime, of nature. Decorating homes with green foliage cheers up the dark winter days with a symbol of hope for new beginnings.

Green is a relaxing colour; the colour of nature and fertility. People who choose green as their favourite colour are thought to be well adjusted, conventional and conservative. Adding green to the Christmas colour scheme will bring harmony into the home. When red and green are combined, it is said to express the hope for redemption through the sacrifices of Christ.

Symbolism of Gold at Christmas

The colour gold symbolises wealth. It is also a symbol of good health. In Christian tradition gold symbolizes Christ the Divine (Revelations 3:18) People whose favourite colour is gold are generally optimistic.

At Christmas gold can be seen everywhere: in tinsel, candles, Christmas stars, angels and twinkling lights. Adding gold to the Christmas colour scheme will promote courage, confidence and willpower and preserve the health of those living in the home.

Symbolism of Silver at Christmas

Silver, like gold, symbolises riches. Silver is a symbol of strength and can also be related to the moon and feminine energy. In Christian tradition, silver is used in a figurative way to represent God’words. Silver also symbolizes Redemption in Christ (Matthew 27:3-9).

This colour represents clarity, vision and brightness. Adding silver to the Christmas colour scheme will help enhance patience and perseverance within the family. Like the moon, silver has a calming soothing effect.

Symbolism of White at Christmas

Snowflakes, winter wonderlands, Santa’beard, the white robes of Christmas angels, white is a colour of purity and cleanliness; a symbol of rebirth. In Christian tradition, white represents the coming of the light of Christ into the world. White helps add light to the greens and reds, bringing a more balanced feel to the Christmas colour scheme.

Whether flamboyant, romantic, energetic or conservative, do your colour choices represent the traditional seasonal colours or perhaps, as shown above, they say more about you and your personality?

Christmas Traditions and Superstitions

Christmas is a time of the year steeped in traditition. Here are a few superstitions associated with Christmas and the New Year.

Holly, Ivy and Mistletoe and Superstition

For luck during Christmas, decorate the home with evergreens such as holly, ivy, rosemary and mistletoe. Mistletoe is believed, by some, to be a magical plant that keeps evil spirits away. It is bad luck to throw holly on the fire or to cut down an oak tree that has mistletoe growing on it, so superstition says!

Twelve Days of Christmas and Superstition

On each of the twelve days of Christmas, the weather is said to signify what the weather will be on each corresponding month of the coming year. It is also said that snow on Christmas day means Easter will be green. Conversely, if there is no snow at Christmas, Easter will be white.

A superstition among farmers says that a mild January will result in wintry weather from February through to the end of May and as a result, will bring about poor crops. While a clear, star-filled sky on Christmas Eve promises good crops in the summer. Fire, Superstition and Christmas

People should keep the home fires burning over the twelve days of Christmas, as it is said to be bad luck to let any fire in the house go out during the Christmas season. During the twelve days of Christmas, people used to cleanse the house and implements with special care otherwise they believed the fairies would steal them. If a cherry tree branch that is placed in water at the beginning of advent flowers by Christmas, this is a sign of luck.

Christmas Celebrations

For good health throughout the coming year, eat an apple on Christmas Eve. Another way to ensure luck in the New Year is for all members of the household to assist with stirring the Christmas pudding. As a symbol of luck, prosperity and marriage, a coin, a thimble and a ring were dropped into the pudding before it was cooked and these predictions would refer to whoever found the object.

People born at Christmas eve or on Christmas day are considered to be lucky. No matter how replete one might feel after the Christmas dinner, it is recommended that they round off the meal with a mince pie or two, for each one is said to signify a month’happiness. Or, for a year’good luck, a mince pie should be eaten on each of twelve consecutive days. And never cut a mince pie as this signifies cutting your luck.

New Year’s Eve Superstitions

If the New Year’s First Footer’ is dark haired and carries some coal, then a year of good luck will follow. This widely known superstition is said to have originated in Scotland. On the other hand, if the first person to enter a house in the New Year is a woman or a fair or red-haired man, then bad luck might be expected. Some also believed that empty pockets and empty cupboards on New Year’s Eve speak of a year of poverty.

And don’t lend anything on New Year’s Day as that could be unlucky too. Be sure to take down all Christmas decorations before the end of the evening of 5th January as it is unlucky to keep them up after Twelfth Night.

Astrology Romance and Compatibility

All the signs approach love and intimacy in different ways. This is a brief guide to star sign lovers, looking at how each sign affects compatibility.
For instance when it comes to heat and passion, the Fire signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are all zealous and enthusiastic lovers. Playing hard-to-get will attract Arian’s competitive spirit and desire to win. For some light-hearted fun, Sagittarius will be glad to join in. Leo, too, loves to have an entertaining time.

For more than just a one-night stand all these signs need a partner who is adventurous and inventive, not just in the bedroom but in other areas of life too!

Fire Signs and Romance ~

The fire signs (as listed above) can be intensely competitive in relationships. Love is like a game and winning the game is important to them. Whether, once won, the object of their affection will hold their attention is another story. For this reason, relationships with these signs will be enjoyable and fun in the short term but they may not always be enduring.

Water Signs and Romance ~

Sensitivity is the magical ingredient in a love affair with Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. There’s a spiritual connection between these signs which hints of a romance that is both exquisite and enduring.

Cancer is an intuitive and imaginative lover. Please a Scorpio sexually and they’ll return this love and affection ten-fold. Pisces’ love-making style is tender, gentle and giving. These Water signs take love seriously and all yearn for permanence in romance.

Earth Signs and Romance ~

The Earth signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn prefer a traditional-style romance and will be cautious about committing to a long-term union. All are compatible in that they will be supportive and dedicated lovers. All seek long-term security.

Taurus needs a partner who is passionate but predictable. Virgo will be drawn to quiet types who they feel they can trust and depend on. Capricorn admires honesty and success.

Air Signs and Romance ~

Good communication is an important feature in relationships with Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Gemini is drawn to those who have a vibrant personality and love of variety. Libra loves romance and longs to be wooed in the old-fashioned way. Aquarius responds to flirtatious talk people who can make them laugh.

How the Signs Get on with Each Other ~

Enduring relationships are likely between Aries with Sagittarius or Aquarius; Taurus with Virgo or Cancer; Gemini with Libra or Aquarius; Cancer with Virgo or Scorpio, Leo with Libra or Sagittarius; Virgo with Cancer or Taurus; Libra with Leo or Aquarius; Scorpio with Pisces or Capricorn; Sagittarius with Gemini or Aries; Capricorn with Scorpio or Virgo; Aquarius with Aries or Gemini; Pisces with Cancer or Taurus.

How Useful is Astrology?

Astrology is a useful tool helping us to see the cycles of our lives and often bringing a greater understanding of the different phases we are going through. Launching a project during a phase where there is conflict, restriction, heavy responsibilities and possible disputation is surely going to mean the venture will be difficult to get off the ground. It may well succeed but there will be many hurdles to get through before the path is smooth ahead.

Whereas launching something new during a phase in life when circumstances might seem to conspire ‘for’ and not ‘against’ us is more likely to bring successful results more quickly.
Astrology helps people with their timing or at least gives them a chance to prepare for the challenges that may lie ahead. Astrology, tarot and any other form of divination should not however be used to make choices for us. Life experiences cannot and should not be avoided by retreating into any kind of belief system.

Horoscopes will show strengths and weaknesses, areas to work on, new possibilities ahead. An astrological analysis will help a person recognise their innate talents and understand themselves better. Compatibility between charts will help two people in a relationship to understand each other better. Astrology might help people weather the storms they are going through in their lives and give hope of what might lie on the other side.

Decisions should always be left to the individual and how will they know they’ve made the best choice until they’ve experienced the consequences of their actions? Astrological advice may or may not make some choices easier but at least it can help people understand what they are going through, what’s ending and what may be about to begin.

Astrology and Psychology

Astrology in many ways can be likened to psychology. Both these ‘ologies’ have many different branches and contain a number of schools of thought. Within psychology there is Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Cinical Psychology and Social Psychology to name but a few. Within astrology there is Natal Astrology, Mundane Astrology, Electional Astrology, Medical Astrology etc.

Some practitioners in astrology and psychology will prefer to take a scientific approach, others veer more towards spiritual and holistic concepts. Carl Jung, for instance incorporates symbolism, archetypes and the idea of the Universal Subconscious in his psychological theories.

For many astrologers, predicting events is not the most important side of their subject. Astrology can be used to help people understand themselves better, especially in times of stress and tension. Depending on the nature of the planets affecting a person's chart at a particular moment in time, the astrological counsellor can help determine the most appropriate ways of easing tension, dealing with difficult situations and utilising positive influences. Modern thinking tends to place emphasis on astrology for self-knowledge, rather than telling the future.

The Rat has a sensitive side, cherishing their loved-ones, enjoying their friendships and appreciating family relationships. Aries too is an outgoing sign and Arians enjoy their friendships but can sometimes get a little self-centred when working towards a certain goal. Perseverance is something which must be consciously developed in order for this person to truly achieve.

As a lover, the Aries/Rat will be exciting and adventurous with a hearty sexual appetite. They will be imaginative and romantic but there could be a degree of self-indulgence in their desire to please their partner. Chinese Astrology - Traits of Chinese Animals

THE CHINESE ZODIAC

There are many differences between Chinese and Western astrology, the main one being that whereas we see the Sun Sign (according to the DATE of birth) as important, the Chinese will refer to a person’s Moon, or Animal Sign (according to the YEAR of birth). The twelve Chinese astrological signs are all named after animals. Chinese legend tells how, many centuries before the birth of Jesus Christ, the Buddha decided to invite all the animals to join in a celebration before he departed from the Earth. Yet for no known reason, only twelve animals obeyed the summons and so to show his gratitude the Buddha named a year after each of these, in the order they came before him: The Rat, the Ox, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake, the Horse, the Goat, the Monkey, the Rooster, the Dog and the Pig.

Chinese Astrology is becoming more and more popular in the West and often people will link their Animal Sign with their Western Sun Sign to gain a deeper understanding of their nature. To find out more about your Animal sign, look for your YEAR of birth under the following Signs. The cycles begin late January/early February so if you were born around this time of the year, read the characteristics of the Sign for your year and the previous one too, then you should be able to decide which one is you!

The Aries Personality

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and the beginning of the astrological year. Its symbol is the Ram and the sun is in Aries roughly between March 21 to April 20 and the sun’s move into this sign marks the spring equinox.

Arians are positive, energetic, wilful and independent. They can also be quick tempered and selfish. Arians are courageous with immense restless energy; they’re often always in a rush and keen to get a move on and become quickly impatient and irritated. Arians are great at taking the initiative, starting new projects and will inspire others with their enthusiasm. In their relationships Arians are frank and direct; they will be generous with their friends.

Aries is a Fire sign and those born under the first sign of the zodiac will enjoy outdoors sports and have a love of adventure. Aries rules over the head and brain in medical astrology.

The Aries man is ambitious, career-orientated and focused on his goals. The Aries woman is assertive, confident and determined to get what she wants. The Aries lover is romantic, generous with affections and highly passionate.

Horoscopes and Rising Signs - What is the Ascendant?

What is the rising sign? Where in the horoscope is this sign located and what is its astrological significance?

Most people will have heard of the term ‘rising sign’ and the other term often used for it: the ascendant.

The ascendant is often the first feature of interest when an astrologer begins interpreting a chart. The ascendant is the actual degree of the ecliptic which is rising over the Eastern horizon at the precise time of birth; the rising sign is the sign rising over the Eastern Horizon at the time of birth; also the sign on the cusp of the first house.

The Rising Sign

The Rising Sign is determined from the time and place of birth. The more exact this information the more accurate will be this important feature of the horoscope. Sometimes magazines and newspapers give charts for working out ascendants in a general way but because of the calculations involved, it’s best to consult an astrologer to find your true ascendant. For a quick calculation you might use Rising Sign Calculator.

This part of the chart indicates how others will see you: the personality and expressions which will be on show. That’s why it’s often easier to guess a person’s Ascendant or Rising sign than their sun sign.

The Horoscope and Sun Sign

Most people know their sun sign. This is the sign the sun was in when they were born, for instance an Arian will have the sun in Aries, a Capricorn is named such because the sun was in Capricorn when they were born.

Sun sign characteristics are often masked by the ascendant. For example once that cheerful and seemingly extrovert Leo ascendant shows the true person underneath, there may be revealed a well-hidden sensitive and emotional side to the same personality which is her or her Pisces sun sign.

Rising Sign Personalities

Summed up in a few words, here’s what to expect in rising sign personalities.
Aries rising will be quick, enthusiastic and a little heated.
Taurus rising will be amicable but often stubborn and will love good food.
Gemini rising will be versatile with a love of variety as he or she will be easily bored. Leo rising will be confident, cheerful and a good entertainer.
Cancer rising will be sensitive and family orientated.
Virgo rising may be a little reserved: he or she will be neat in appearance and manner, sometimes to the point of being finicky.
Libra rising is charming, graceful and probably very good looking.
Deep and determined is the person with Scorpio rising.
Sagittarius rising is jovial and courageous with a good sense of humour.
Capricorn rising is reliable and hard working.
Aquarius rising is sociable and open minded.
Piscens rising will be artistic sensitive and imaginative.

So where the sun sign describes the basic ego and the Moon sign, the emotional inner self, the rising sign portrays the façade a person shows to the rest of the world.

Phases of the Moon and Life on Earth

How the Moon Affects our Planet

The ever-changing moon moves swiftly through the night-time sky and with her cycles and phases there are links with life on Earth, with human personality and activity.

From one new moon to another takes 29 ½ days. Most years have thirteen new moons or thirteen full moons but never both. Occasionally a year will miss out and have twelve of each. As well as the cycles of the moon as it travels through each sign of the zodiac each month, there are eclipses, Harvest Moons and Blue Moons.

The phases of the moon have been observed and recorded since ancient times and man has always respected the importance of the moon’s cycle. Observations have noted the following lunar effects.

Full Moon and Lunacy

There are more accidents, crimes and admissions to mental homes at the time of a full moon. At the University of Miami, psychologist Arnold Lieber and his colleagues decided to test the old belief of full moon and lunacy. Research using murder date from Cuyahoga County in Ohio, Cleveland showed that the full moon marks a monthly peak in various kinds of psychotically oriented crimes such as murder, arson, dangerous driving and kleptomania.

Crimes and violence aren’t the only things affected by the full moon. In the Journal of the Florida Medical Association, Dr Edson Andrews noted that ina study of 1000 tonsillectomies, 82 per cent of postoperative bleeding crises occurred nearer the full than the new moon, despite the fact that fewer operations were performed at that time. This suggests the full moon is a more dangerous time for surgery.

Moon Phases and Tree Felling

In South America and Southeast Asia, tree-harvesting contracts are linked to the phases of the moon. Trees are only cut down on a waning moon, as near to the new moon as possible. This is because on a waxing moon, the sap rises in the trees, this attracts hordes of deathwatch beetles which can destroy a crop.

Moon Babies

Curtis Jackson, controller of Southern California Methodist hospital quantified over 11,000 births over a period of six years and found that nearly 1,000 more children were conceived during the waxing moon. The conclusion drawn from this is that conception is easier at this time.

Lunar Calendar, Life and Astrology

How does the Moon affect personality and life events? Rather than look for a reason, many astrologers observe and trust in what they see through those observations. Just as God can’t be seen but many trust without question and feel His presence in their lives.

Some will argue that because the human body, like the Earth is about 70 per cent water, the Moon’s pull must surely be felt within our bodies too. It has been seen that the Moon does have an affect and further personal observations can

Moon Phases, Astrology and the Earth

Moon Calendar, Moon Cycles and Known Effects on Earth

It is a fact that the moon moves the tides through its gravitational pull and also that women’s menstrual cycles are often in alignment with the moon. How else can lunar effects be seen on earth?

Observations throughout the ages have helped man live by the moon and recognise how the moon’s cycles effect the earth, lives and personality.

Moon and Tides

Perhaps the most noticeable effect the moon has on the earth is its gravitational pull which is responsible for the tides. The relationship between moon and tides was observed by the ancients and is lost in antiquity. It was observed that whenever tidal levels rose, the moon was visible and thus the relationship between the two because part of folklore.
When the moon, the earth and the sun are in line, Spring Tides are formed and very high tides or very low tides can be expected. When the moon, the earth and the sun are at right angles to each other, Neap Tides are formed. During these tides there is not a great deal of difference in the heights of the high and low tides.

Moon Calendar and Farming

In ancient times, man looked to the sun, moon and stars and recognised patterns in the cycles by which they would live by. Farmers had a planting calendar based on the phases of the moon and there would be different variations depending on geographical location. As this knowledge was passed on through the generations it evolved to cover different crops and more productive farming techniques were used.

Planting was the most important time for farmers as was harvest time. It was seen that different plants grew better when planted at different phases of the moon. Each of the moon’s phases seems to have a different influence on the way vegetation grows on earth through the rising and falling of moisture on the ground and in the plants.

Seeds germinate more quickly and effectively when sown with a moon waxing to full. The water content of plants is greater at a full moon.

Lunar Cycles, New Moon and Salmon

It has been found that there is a relationship between a surge of the hormone thyroxin in salmon, the new moon and the onset of downstream migration. Spawning migrations in fish occur only at night during March to August at the time of a full or new moon. Lunar spawning migrations have been reported in other fish species as well.

Moon and Menstruation

Menstruation takes its name from the moon and is often to be seen linked to the lunar cycle. Many woman find their periods tend to occur at a New Moon or Full Moon.

As the moon waxes and wanes throughout the month, so does the female cycle. She will experience different moods, desires and aspects of herself depending on where she is in the menstrual cycle. The light of the full moon stimulates ovulation. This is a good time for conception and also a time of increase sexual activity.

Moon and Psychology

Some conditions, especially depression, anxiety and behavioural problems have been associated with a full moon effect. C P Thakur and Dilip Sharma published an article in the British Medical Journal in 1984 suggesting that incidents of crime were far higher on full moon days, based on researching four years of police reports from three towns, one rural, one urban and one industrial. It was also found that poisonings were more likely on full moon days and crimes of all types rose by a significant amount.

Michael Jackson's Ghost on Video at Neverland

Michael Jackson fans across the internet have been reflecting on whether or not a ghostly appearance on a CNN video taken at Neverland, Michael Jackson's former home could be the recently departed singer.
Video of Michael Jackson's Ghost
The crew were broadcasting a tour of the huge house . As the reporter is showing viewers around, a moving shadow is clearly seen moving across the hallway.
The shadow can be briefly glimpsed; some describe it as "Michael's ghost moonwalking across the hallway in a style clearly his own," suggesting that it cannot therefore be a member of the film crew!
Michael Jackson's Ghost on VideoMichael loved the house when he first visited Neverland and seemingly couldn't get it out of his mind. After going on tour, he returned and bought the 'ranch'.
In the video, once the crew had visited the kitchen (where it was said everyone hung out, played video games, watched TV and lounged in comfortable furniture. This is where, when the place was inhabited, they ate meals and generally it was the main meeting place of Neverland) they then went to the bedrooms and Michael's private suite, the crew seeming oblivious at the time to the 'ghost' that crosses the hallway.
They continue on to the bathrooms, a closet and a secret compartment, a 'safe room' where Michael could go 'just in case'.Could the ghostly apparition be Michael Jackson or might it be a shadow of one of the camera crew walking past the window? The ghostly apparition can bee seen on YouTube
Celebrities and Ghosts
Celebrities and GhostsHaving a resident ghost isn't unusual among the famous. Movie star Matthew McConaughey has learned to accept the spirit he calls Madame Blue who is seen regularly around his house. It is said that all singer Belinda Carlisle's homes are haunted. - Perhaps it is the same ghost following her.
Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman allegedly left their home because of a ghostly presence. While it has been reported that whenever the Beatles get together, such as when they were recording the eerie Free as a Bird in 1995, John Lennon's mischievous spirit can be felt.
Paul McCartney described a lot of "strange goings-on in the studio, noises that shouldn't have been there and equipment doing all manner of weird things."
Michael Jackson Haunting Neverland?
Could Michael Jackson already be haunting Neverland? Seemingly a paranormal research team who became aware of the Spectre of Michael Jackson in the now famed Larry King/Jermaine Jackson Ranch Tour has produced a version of the video where the ghost is isolated with a spotlight halo.
Scary music is also added, contributing to the atmosphere but despite the locks on the bedroom door, the door is open, there are people around and this could be as much a shadow cast by a human figure as a ghostly spectre.

Love Quotes to Suit Gemini Personality

Here’s a collection of hand picked quotes that might be used for cards, gifts and sending messages to a Gemini.

Gemini is a mental lover in that they grasp the idea of love and constantly dream of new future romantic possibilities. They love to talk about love, write about love. Love inspires their mind as in the following quotations:

“The way to the heart is through the ears” ~ Katie Hurley
“Have a strong mind and a soft heart.” ~ Anthony J D’Angelo
“When we talk about understanding, surely it takes place only when the mind listens completely. … The mind being your heart, your nerves, your ears- when you give your whole attention to it.” ~ J Krishnamutri
“Not all those who know their minds know their hearts as well.” ~ Francois
“I love you - those three words have my life in them.” ~ Alexandrea to Nicholas III
Sometimes Geminis need to be reminded to stop talking and of the value of lasting love:
“A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.” ~ Ingrid Bergman
“True happiness and a fullness of joy can be found only in the tender and intimate relationships of the family. However earnestly we may seek success and happiness outside the home through work, leisure activities, or large bank accounts, we will never be fully satisfied emotionally until we develop deep and loving relationships.” ~ James J Jones Ph D “Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence.” ~ H L Mencken
”I like not only to be loved, but to be told that I am loved. “ ~ George Elliot
“I laugh, I love, I hope, I try I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things too, So we're really not that different, me and you.” ~ Colin Raye”The best feelings are those that Have no words to describe them.” ~ Michelle Hammersley

There is a youthful quality to the Gemini. They love to have fun; they enjoy flirting and have a flair for excitement and danger. These next quotes reflect this fun side of their nature:
“Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love.” ~ Charlie Brown
“Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age.” ~ Jeanne Moreau
“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” ~ A A Milne
“How absurd and delicious it is to be in love with somebody younger than yourself. Everybody should try it.” ~ Barbara Pym
”Trip over love, you can get up. Fall in love and you fall forever.” ~ Anonymous

For the Gemini, variety is the spice of life. Their love affairs must be constantly revitalised in order for them never to grow bored, or their eyes will wander, as in these next quotations:
“Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.” ~ Albert Einstein
“Love is the magician that pulls man out of his own hat.” ~ Ben Hecht
“Love is like playing the piano. First you must learn to play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play from your heart.” ~ Anonymous

Gemini is the sign of the twins; a sign of duality and these quotes convey this side of the Gemini:
“We were given: Two hands to hold. To legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.” ~ Anonymous“I sought for Love But Love ran away from me. I sought my Soul But my Soul I couldn't see. Then I sought You, And I found all three. ~ Anonymous
Above all, Gemini needs their lover also to be their best friend as is summed up nicely in the following quotation:
“Where you find true friendship, You find true love.” Anon

How Useful is Astrology? - How Does Astrology Work?

Love Quotations for Taureans - Love Quotes to Suit the Taurus Personality

Here’s a collection of hand picked quotes that might be used for cards, gifts and sending messages to a Taurean.

Love Quotations for Taurus Friends and Lovers

Taurus has a practical and direct approach to love. They dream of lasting love and to love another person is to love them with their heart and soul.

Taurus is a passionate sign. They are serious about their relationships. They are amiable and friendly and warm and giving in romance.

Taurus is a stable earth sign and the following quotes reflect that side of their nature:

“Love means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that our love will produce love in the loved person. Love is an act of faith, and whoever is of little faith is also of little love.” ~ Erich Fromm
“Love is not enough. It must be the foundation, the cornerstone - but not the complete structure. It is much too pliable, too yielding.” ~ Bette Davis
“Immature love says: 'I love you because I need you.' Mature love says 'I need you because I love you.’” ~ Erich Fromm

Love Quotations for the Taurus

There is something determined about the Taurus in their pursuit of romance; they will be dedicated to their one-true-love.

These quotations reflect the more persistent side of the Taurus nature:
“Love was always the goal, and my point every step of the way was that nothing is wrong with love, no matter what flavor it comes in.” ~ Ani Difranco
“To fall in love is easy, even to remain in it is not difficult; our human loneliness is cause enough. But is a hard quest worth making to find a comrade through whose steady presence one becomes steadily the person one desires to be.” ~ Anna Strong
“To fall in love is easy, even to remain in it is not difficult; our human loneliness is cause enough. But it is a hard quest worth making to find a comrade through whose steady presence one becomes steadily the person one desires to be.” ~ Anna Louise Strong

Taurus longs for romance of a secure and long-term nature. They tend to shy away from risks but they will give themselves completely to their Ms or Mr Right. Ruled by Venus, Taureans can have quite an impact on the lives of those they join up with. These quotations echo this Taurus trait:

“There are no guarantees. From the viewpoint of fear, None are strong enough. From the viewpoint of love, None are necessary.” ~ Anonymous
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.” ~ Flavia Weedn
There is a possessive side to the Taurus. They are generous, loving and giving but they sometimes treat their partner like he or she was a possession. Here are some quotations to go with the strong Taurus affectionate and kindly nature:

“You can give without loving, But you cannot love without giving.” ~ Amy Carmichael“Love grows by giving. The love we give away is the only love we keep. The only way to retain love is to give it away.” ~ Elbert Hubbard

There is a natural, earthy quality to the Taurus and the following quotation is something they should be encouraged to think about and strive towards:

“Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination.” ~ Voltaire

Love Quotations for Arians - Love Quotes to Suit Aries Personality

Here’s a collection of hand picked quotes that might be used for cards, gifts and sending messages to an Arian.

Love Quotes for Aries

Aries is a passionate, restless and intense sign. Their emotions skim along the surface; Aries is capable of great passion but it can quickly evaporate.

When Aries sets the romantic sights on someone, they will be single-minded in their pursuit of attaining that goal. Whether the affair lasts is another matter because Arians can get bored very quickly.

Aries is a passionate fire sign and the following quotes reflect that side of their nature:

“Love is an exploding cigar we willingly smoke.” ~ Lynda Barry
“The couple that fights the most is the one most in love... it shows they care enough to notice the other one screwed up and care enough to mention it to the person so they can fix it. When you stop fighting it means you stopped caring.” ~ Shawna Waltemyer
“Love is a burning desire, That makes your heart light on fire, Love is being with you, Someone saying I love you too, Love is your tender kiss, Something you don't want to miss, Love is you and me, And that is all I see.” ~ Anonymous
“But true love is a durable fire, In the mind ever burning, Never sick, never old, never dead, From itself never turning.” ~ Sir Walter Raleigh Romantic Quotations Reflecting Aries Relationships

Love Quotations for Arians

Aries, the first sign of the zodiac loves new beginnings and will find the start of any relationship, the most exciting and thrilling part. Even so, when variety is introduced into romance, it can be lasting.

The following quotes reflect Arian’s love of the new and novel:

”We are all born for love. … It is the principle existence and it's only end.” ~ Disraeli

“Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.” ~ Bruce Lee

“The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.” ~ Maulana Jalalu’ddin Rumi

Love Quotes and Sayings for Aries Friends and Lovers

The Arian’s love nature can be demanding, impetuous, exciting and always giving. The following quotations reflect this more competitive side of the Aries nature:

“Love doesn't make the world go round, Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.” ~ Elizabeth Browning

“Love is a game that two can play and both win.” ~ Eva Gabor

Arians need to love and to be loved. Using the above examples you might want to choose your own quotations and sayings to reflect your Arian’s personality. Send them a love quote every day to keep them interested and to remind Aries that you’re thinking about them.

Babies Names and Astrology - Choosing a Name for Gemini Babies

In combining astrology and the theory that names reflect personality and development, how might parents choose a name for a Gemini baby?

Gemini Baby Names

Going with the premise that a name can be crucial in influencing a child’s character and life pattern, a name that “balances” the traits of his or her sun sign is likely to enhance their positive side and create beneficial energy around them.

If a baby is due between 22 May and 21 June h/she is likely to be a Gemini. The Gemini’s general character traits are: lively, vivacious, always on-the-go, fast talking, sociable, communicative, friendly, intellectual and versatile. Geminis can also be a day-dreamer, impatient, restless and overly spontaneous.

What is Reiki? - Differences between Reiki and Spiritual Healing

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is an ancient healing art which involves the laying-on of hands. It is a form of spiritual healing that helps to balance the energy within.

Reiki balances the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical energies. It should not be looked on as a substitute for traditional medical care; Reiki will help improve recovery by directing healing energy to where it is needed. Reiki helps to harmonise body, mind and spirit.

What is Reiki?

The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words: rei meaning Universal Spirit and ki meaning life force energy. In Reiki, hands are the channels for energy (ki) guided by the Universal Spirit (Rei). Mystics of all cultures speak of the physical universe being made of an underlying form of energy which is subject to or affected by thought.

Reiki is a flexible, ever-evolving form of healing, relaxation and personal development. Practicing Reiki helps bring about harmony in the body, leading to a deep sense of relaxation. As well as having this wonderfully calming affect on the healee, the person giving a Reiki treatment also receives the healing effect of the Universal energy that flows through them.

This is said to be an intelligent energy in that it seems to know where to go for healing to take place and what is needed. It never does any harm. The energy does not come from the Reiki practitioner. The practitioner is a channel for the healing energy.

Some benefits of Reiki include:

pain relief
a balancing of physical/mental/emotional and spiritual energies
enhanced personal awareness; reiki increases inner peace and mental clarity/emotional stability
improved creativity
suppressed feelings are released
a reduction of stress and tension
aids positive thinking

Reiki can therefore be used for many reasons including reducing stress or tension, relieving pain, headaches, back problems, respiratory problems, PMT, menstrual problems and more. Reiki should be used to compliment traditional medicine and not as an alternative.

It is a gentle non-invasive method of healing. Through Reiki, practitioners can also develop personal and spiritual growth.

The Differences between Reiki and Spiritual Healing

Reiki draws on the Universal spirit to heal however there are differences between Reiki and other methods of healing such as spiritual healing. Through Reiki, energy is channelled by an attuned person to empower the healee to cure themselves. The healer acts as a channel for the energy normally without being drained themselves. A spiritual healer is a person said to be gifted in the powers of healing who will channel energy to bring about a cure. Spiritual healers believe themselves to be vulnerable to other influences/entities and to picking up problems from the person they’re working on when they open themselves to the energy. They take steps to protect themselves against this. Reiki attunement seems to protect and prevent Reiki practitioners from picking up any negative influences from the healee.

There are several different forms of Reiki. As knowledge is passed down from Master to student, students have developed and passed on their own understanding and individual methods. Even so the basic concept of channelling Universal energy is common to them all.

Different symbols are used in each Reiki practice. Some practitioners are trained in and use more than one form of Reiki. Each method has its place in healing.

Reiki is guided by the Universal Spirit/energy that sustains and balances all life on this planet. It is an intelligent energy of love and wholeness.

Dream Interpretation

Interpreting Dreams helps Provide a Deeper Understanding of Self

Dreams represent important issues in the dreamer’s life at the time of the dream. Understanding these can be insightful.

Dream Interpretation

Dream interpretation is nothing new. The Ancient Greeks and the Ancient Egyptians made prophesies based on dreams and an entire Australian aboriginal mythology is founded on the supposed dream time of their gods and ancestors. Throughout history, important writers have placed emphasis on dreams and their meanings and many references to dream interpretations can be found in the Bible.

Dreaming is a natural part of human experience, a different state of consciousness in which remembered images and fantasies are temporarily confused with reality. One of the most curious things about dreams is the way they always seem so vivid to the dreamer, yet when related to others, the impact is often lost.

Why do We Dream?

Why do we dream? No one knows for certain, but psychological studies have shown that we have a need for dream-sleep and people deprived of this have experienced weird side-effects, such as hallucinations. Furthermore, when allowed to catch up on sleep, the same people will spend more time dreaming, as if to catch up on the dreams they have lost. This would suggest that dreaming is an important part of our lives

So how can dream interpretation help? Problems and deep-seated anxieties can be resolved by studying the symbolism contained in dreams; dreams provide material for processing, which in turn can help the dreamer to face up to problems and overcome them. Dreams have a therapeutic quality. One of their main functions is to reveal the dreamer's failings, disappointments or unfulfilled needs and skilful dream interpretation can often provide guidance in coping with these hidden desires.

Symbols in Dreams

In dreams, imagery tends to be symbolic, representing incidents, present problems and events that are yet to take place. Scenes, people and objects may not necessarily represent themselves. So, how can people interpret the dreams they remember? Nowadays it’s easy to get hold of dream-manuals which give a basic definition of the meaning of each symbolic object or event that occurred in a dream. This is a fun method of dream interpretation and not wholly reliable for the individual dreamer.

Dreams are intensely personal and though two people may have the same dream, its meaning will be different in each case. For instance two women may dream of cats. If the first is a cat-lover, this could mean (as a brief example) that she will adopt a stray or that she should pay attention to the health of her own cat. The second woman, however, is allergic to animal fur and in her case, her cat dream could mean that something has happened or is about to happen which will cause her stress or annoyance.

Imagery and Symbolism in Dreams

Understanding the complex symbolism within dreams takes research, time and experimentation. Images in dreams create different reactions in different dreamers and symbols don’t necessarily mean the same thing to everyone. Discovering how to interpret dreams meaningfully can help people understand themselves better, reduce stress levels and some who are able to tap into this incredible world of the subconscious can even develop the ability to control their dreams.

Types of Dreams - Lucid Dreams and Nightmares

Nightmares

Most people have experienced nightmares at some point in their lives. Although unpleasant, it is thought that these bad dreams can have a beneficial effect, in that they help us to come to terms with trauma or inner stress. Sometimes nightmares are an indication of an area of a person’s mind that terrifies them so much they dare not bring it out into the open. However, careful, patient and successive analysis of nightmares can sometimes reveal enough about worries and past traumas to enable the dreamer to deal with these problems in a rational manner. Often, as each terrible thought or memory is confronted in waking life, healing takes place and the bad dreams fade away.

Lucid Dreams

These are dreams in which the dreamer knows that he or she is dreaming. There has been extensive study into lucid dreams and it has been found that people can signal to the outside world when they know they are dreaming. In such cases the dreamer often has the advantage of being able to wake him or herself up if the dream becomes unpleasant or allowing the dream to continue if it is enjoyable. Many people report being able to control and manipulate their dreams thus ensuring that the outcome is always satisfactory.

Superstition and their Origins - Examples of Superstitions and How they May Have Originated

Although many superstitions originated centuries ago as early forms of magic, many still exist today. What forms the basis of some superstitions and how powerful are they?

How powerful are superstitions? David Phillips, a sociologist at the University of California tested the power of the ancient Chinese superstition that links the number 4 to death. It was found, after examining more than 47 million computerised death certificates that there were 13 per cent more deaths caused by heart attack than expected on the fourth of the month for Japanese and Chinese Americans.

David Phillips published the results of an extensive study of the effect of superstitions on the life of those who believed them in 2002 and stated that superstitions can raise stress and anxiety levels.

The scientists who conducted this study found that if superstitions are hard-wired into the human brain, regardless of education level or ethnicity, they do have an affect on people. It is, in effect, unlucky to be superstitious!

Some of the more prevalent superstitions alive in Western culture today include ‘touching wood’ to keep the good luck flowing, expecting seven years bad luck after breaking a mirror and it being bad luck for a black cat to cross your path.

What other superstitions still survive and how might they have originated?

Origins of the Superstition “Touching Wood”

There are several theories as to the origin of this superstition. It was thought that knocking on wood was a superstitious action to ward off evil throughout history both through Pagan and Christian times. Some believed that touching a wooden crucifix was a form of praying for good luck.

According to an ancient Celtic belief, trees can conduct evil spirits and some would knock on wood to thank mythical creatures for bestowing good luck on them.

Origins of Superstition “Expect Bad Luck if a Black Cat Crosses Your Path”

Some believe this superstition dates back to the days of Charles I of England who owned a black cat. He was fiercely protective of his cat until one day it fell ill and died. Charles I was heard to proclaim “Alas my luck is gone” and the next day he was arrested and charged with treason.

Contradictions of Superstition Regarding Black Cat

In some parts, it is believed to be a sign of good luck if a black cat crosses your path. In Yorkshire for instance, a black cat was said to bring the fisherman home safely from the seas. In parts of Europe if a black cat walks into your home you are considered to be blessed.

The origin of black cat and good luck may have begun in Egypt. Oagans-Bast was a sacred black cat god of the monotheistic belief system. His people courted and offered favours by acquiring black cats into their households in the belief that somehow the spirit of their god might enter the body of the black cat, therefore blessing them with prosperity.

Origins of Superstition “Breaking a Mirror Brings Seven Years Bad luck

The superstition regarding breaking mirrors bringing seven years bad luck goes back to ancient Rome. The Romans were the first to create glass mirrors and along with other cultures, they believed the mirror had the power to confiscate a part of the user’s soul. If a person’s reflected image became distorted in any way this could mean a corruption in his or her soul.

Origins of Finding a Penny and Picking it Up for Luck

It was once believed that metal was a gift from the Gods, given to man as protection against evil. All forms of metal brought good luck and this is one reason too, why horseshoes are sometimes hung over people’s doorways or charm bracelets are worn. Finding a penny is finding a good luck coin. There’s an old saying “Wrap a penny in paper and keep it to avoid your debtors,” and this is another that metal was thought to bring wealth.

Origins of Superstition that Putting an Umbrella up Indoors is Bad Luck

In ancient cultures, the umbrella represented royalty and power. African royalty for instance first used umbrellas to shield themselves from the hot rays of the sun. To open one in the shade was an insult to the Sun God. The superstition about it being bad luck to open an umbrella indoors may have originated because people saw it as an act that insulted the spirits of the household by implying their protection was inadequate.

Despite modern life, superstitions can still have a powerful affect on people and there are many who will avoid crossing people on stairs, walking under ladders breaking mirrors and many who will still carry a good luck charm.

Celtic Tree Astrology

The Celts were an ancient Indo-European people whose culture spread rapidly across Europe from the British Isle and Northern Spain to the Black Sea coasts and Galatia (modern Turkey).

These were courageous, quite fierce people and yet also known for their fine arts, music, poetry and philosophy. They were fond of feasting and celebration and were also highly ritualistic and religious. They regarded their laws and spiritual disciplines as sacred and these were passed down orally by the Druid priests.
Druid Trees and Celtic Astrology

The Druids were well schooled in magic, astronomy and astrology. They were in tune with the magical powers of plants and animals. The Oak tree was sacred to the Celts and often they conducted their religious rituals in oak groves.

The ancient Celtic Tree Calendar assigns certain trees to people depending on the date they were born. The Celts believed that the human race originally descended from trees and the mystical qualities of each tree where shared with those born at certain times of the year.

Lucid Dreams

Dreams come to us in all forms. They can be pleasant, entertaining and thought-provoking but they can also be dark and sinister, leaving us feeling disturbed and ill at ease. Generally, dreams come TO us. We have no control over them. However, in rare cases, the sleeper does realise that they are in a dream and once they've stepped over this mental boundary, they can have some control over the outcome.

These Lucid Dreams are so rare that we have only received one example in all the letters and emails sent to me. SW from Bolton wanted to share her first lucid dream with us:

"There was a knock on my back door and I went to open it, expecting to see my husband. Instead, Kevin Costner was standing there with a big handsome smile on his face. I stepped back, really shocked, and then I realised that I must be dreaming. Yet it felt so real and I didn't want it to stop. My husband was due back but I decided that if it was a dream, he could wait and invited the film star inside. It was such a vivid, real experience that I can't wait for it to happen again." -

And we all look forward to hearing the next instalment!

Pluto Transits

To compare a Pluto transit with a tarot card, it would probably have to be the Ten of Swords. The imagery in this card is dark, oppressing and gloomy and that's what Pluto often feels like when it makes an aspect, particularly a square or opposition, to a planet in the natal chart. These can be difficult periods and painful too.
These phases are lasting ones, times when people might feel as if someone 'up there' has got it in for them. Yet take a closer look at the Ten of Swords. A body is lying face down with ten swords stuck in his back. But dawn is breaking on the horizon.
Pluto is a planet of transformation and rebirth. OUt of the dark and painful times will spring forth newness; brighter things will come.

Dream Clinic: Holiday Romance

The Dream:

I have just returned from a holiday in Majorca where I met a really nice boy. Recently I dreamed that a friend and I were in a dark crowded place. She went to buy an ice-cream. As she left, someone began to tell me about Juan's mother and what they said wasn’t nice. Next they said that Juan has probably already forgotten me. My friend returned carrying a pinky red coloured lolly. The ice was shaped as spheres. By then, I was trying to hold back the tears and I woke up. Ever since I've been back, my family have been telling me to get over him. I want to go back to Marjoca next year but my friends are considering going somewhere else. Should I return to Majorca. I also took a tarot reading and got: the tower, an upside down Emperor and the Moon. I can't stop thinking about Juan and the time we had together. I'm so confused, can you help me? L.P., Kent

The Analysis:

The darkness of the place reflects emotional upset and possibly someone having something to hide. Spheres, like circles, may represent the opportunities in your life that are still ahead of you. These have appeared in the form of ice-cream, something solid, which takes time to melt. This could represent the loyalty of your family and friends which cannot be destroyed (melted) even though you're currently at odds with one another. The pinky-red sphere-shaped lolly is rather like a big 'Stop' sign. This is a testing time in your life. You must try to escape that darkness and come out into the light, as that's where new opportunities lie. Your cards too, seem to represent the confusion you are going through. The experience has changed you and you won't forget it. However, your dream seems to be telling you that you must also make the most of what is already around you. Don't spend too long preying on the past.

More than Just a Sun Sign

Dear Carole,

My sister, born on 27 August 1939 is of the sign Virgo and she has always been a true Virgo type. My husband, born on 15 September 1930 is also a Virgo but he seems to be a total opposite to my sister in habits and character. Any explanations? JF

Although in popular books and magazines a lot of emphasis is placed on a person’s sun sign, in real astrology the sun sign forms only a small part of the person’s personality. Astrologers will always take into consideration other important factors such as the Rising Sign, the placement of all the planets in a birth chart and their relationships to each other.

I cannot calculate your sister’s rising sign as you did not give the time of her birth. However as well as having the sun in Virgo she also has Mercury and Neptune in Virgo. There is a strong earth influence in her chart in that she has five planets in the signs Virgo or Taurus. I would say then that she would be very true to the Virgo personality.

Your husband has a strong Water influence in his chart which suggests high levels of emotion. Also with the Moon in Gemini and Mercury in Libra there will be a degree of changeably restlessness and even indecisiveness which would not normally be associated with those born under the sign Virgo. Your husband’s chart shows him to be more extrovert in nature, your sister more introvert.

Remember, astrology is more than just a sun sign.

Psychic Attack

Dear Carole

I have recently married a man my mother seems to hate. She believes in the occult and has been looking into ways that witches cast spells. Since our wedding, my husband and my two children have all had various illnesses, my son has had problems at school and our car is always breaking down. Has my mother placed some sort of curse on us? If so, how can we get rid of it. DC

The kind of psychic attack you seem to feel you are subject to is what primitive societies used to call the Evil Eye. I’ll tell you something about this but also, it’s important for you to try and get things into perspective. You haven’t said how long you’ve been married, but major life changes can be traumatic in many ways and it could be that you’re just going through a difficult time.

To combat a psychic attack you must ensure these negative thoughts don’t prey on your mind, otherwise things will just seem to get worse. Knowing where the attack is coming from does help in that you can concentrate your own defences against it. Also why don’t you start wearing a talisman or a piece of jewellery that you feel is lucky. Perhaps your zodiac sign or a gem related to the month you were born? The symbol for the Moon is also good for improving psychic powers.

Then each night before you go to sleep, form a mental shield around your family. To do this, imagine you have been surrounded by a bright white or blue light. Hold this impression in your mind as long as you can. By doing this you will block any psychic assault, no matter where it might be coming from. Finally and most importantly talk to your mother and try your utmost to dispel the bad feeling that has developed between you since your marriage. I’m sure that your mother loves you dearly and in her heart wishes only the best for you and your children.

Dream Analysis

In my dream, I was standing on a cliff I recently visited. that used to be a favourite place in my childhood. Looking down, there is a coastal scene below. I could see a trawler sailing into a tiny port. I began to fly a kite and watched as it soared high into the cloudless sky. Aaron.

This dream describes a scene that actually exists and is therefore something that is real in the dreamer’s life that might be symbolic of what he is currently going through. Cliffs for instance can sometimes represent obstacles which have to be overcome. In this dream, Aaron has already reached the summit and this suggests immediate difficulties have been surmounted.

The scene is peaceful and tranquil. Aaron’s life is likely to be following familiar patterns without disruption. In most areas he feels at ease (cloudless sky). The kite symbolises rising dreams and hopes and these are likely to be proceeding with few obstacles.

The trawler may hint the possibility of Aaron having to delegate some of his responsibilities in the future in order to achieve his ambitions.

Are You Psychic

Who is psychic? Are some people more psychic than others, or could it be that some people are just more regularly in tune with their spiritual side? Have you had a psychic experience? No? Maybe you have without having realised it. Maybe you’ve experienced a feeling of déjà vu? Or you’ve known who was on the other end of the phone the moment it started to ring. You may have recently contacted a friend to be told they were just about to get in touch with you.

Psychic ability involves being able to sense what cannot always be seen with your physical eye or heard through your ears. It involves tuning into your inner voice and trusting your intuition. Some people are more aware of their sixth sense than others but this is an awareness that can be developed. Psychics and mediums are able to tap into their psychic ability to help others with their gifts.

One of the key necessities for tuning into your psychic abilities is switching off the mind and learning how to relax. If you don’t spend much time alone and there’s not much quiet in your life, it won’t be easy to tap into your inner resources. Before starting on an psychic work you need to learn how to become completely relaxed so you can shut your mind off sights and sounds around you. Meditation exercises will help.

A mother will often intuitively feel in tune with her children. Everyone has a degree of intuition: that small voice inside that might make you take one route home instead of another to discover later there was an accident on your normal route. Intuition is a guide through life helping people instinctively choose the right path when they need it if they just learn how to trust their instincts. You might get in touch with your intuition by paying more attention to your inner voice.

Practice is necessary for anyone who wants to develop their psychic abilities. There are a variety of books on the subject that might help you choose the technique that works best for you. There are also many excellent websites and online communities that will help with psychic development.
